Remembrance Day Service (November 2018)

Hamstel Junior School held its annual Remembrance Day Service, on Friday 9th November, with the support of the cadets from Westcliff High School for Boys. During the service our house captains laid a wreath to the sounding of the Last Post. Hearing everyone, led by Glee Club, singing the National Anthem provided a very fitting ending to a very moving ceremony. Thank you to everyone who made a donation to The Royal British Legion over the last week.

Harvest Festival (October 2018)

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Harvest collection for the Southend Foodbank. Our newly elected School Council worked hard to create a fantastic display of all the donations ahead of our special whole school assembly. Southend Foodbank is a charity which works hard to support families in crisis. We are proud of our community links and know how grateful the charity is for all your kind donations.
